The beginning

Arron Rawding met Dave Fisher in 2017 when researching the possibility of designing a road legal Desert Patrol Vehicle variant for recreational use.

The first thing to get right was the frame.

It had to line up exactly with a VW Beetle Standard chassis, whilst affording enough space for a cockpit, powertrain and storage.

That means from the start we were moving everything towards the rear.

After months of development the Mk1 was finally ready to take out on the road and soon enough we were ready to start building the next one.

The Mk1 is available in kit form for those mechanically minded, or you can get your hands on a new build.
